Comments Thread For: Amir Khan Says Freddie Roach Reached Out About Fighting Pacquiao

Amir Khan has apparently so firmly ensconced himself in retirement that not even the idea of facing Manny Pacquiao holds much interest for him anymore.

Make an official fight. Khan vs Pacquiao vs Mayweather. All 3 in the ring at the same time. Last man standing wins. They need to try new things like this. It would get a massive audience. Nash out.

Faryal opened the door to her bedroom. Inside was a sight she knew she would see and dreaded it. Amir sat on their bed, landline phone in hand with a face a mix of astonishment and shock. "Faryal," he said, "You won't believe who I just got off the phone with! Floyd Mayweather AND Manny Pacquiao! They both want to fight me! This is a dream come true!" Faryal steeled herself and nodded to the two men that had accompanied her. Two large men in white scrubs walked into the room carrying a white jacket with thick straps woven into it. The two men approached Amir as he eyed them cautiously. "Floyd? Manny? What are you doing here?" Amir asked apprehensively but offered no resistance as the men (who were very careful of his jaw) stood him up and placed the jacket on him, pulling the straps tight. Faryal watched as the men took her husband away and bent down to pick up the fallen phone. Her eyes traced the phone line to the wall where the telephone cable and jack fell woefully short of the wall socket.
