As a Canelo fan, it's pretty clear to me that Bivol will beat him once again. I was completely shocked they signed the fight in the first place; anybody who follows boxing closely knew Bivol was THAT dude. I expect the same result, possibly a stoppage if they run it right back. I had Kovalev winning on the cards until Canelo KO'd him. Canelo should have never gone past 168, where he already looks smaller frame-wise. Just because you can make the weight limit, does not mean you can outbox those great big men. As much as I don't care to watch this 3rd fight, I'm not going to lie to myself and say I won't. It may be compelling, and GGG clearly will bring it as much as he can. Too much hate on Canelo for going up and daring to be great while there are fighters with beyond padded records continuously refusing to fight any semblance of a threat.
What is this logic with which you speak? Where's the emotionalism? This is boxing! Aren't we supposed to be irrational?
Does Bivol just wait for Canelo then? Is fighting anyone worth it in the meantime? Risk of a cut? Injury? Loss? I mean he’s synched up great to take on Beterbiev a few months from now. Nobody expects that of course. Is he just going to hope for a Canelo win vs GGG and then wait for a date on the rematch?
I am like 99% sure that regardless of what Bivol does or doesn't do from now until Canelo is able to negotiate a rematch with him, will have any impact on Canelo's intentions. He wants to avenge his loss... Bivol can fight and lose but it won't take that target off his back for Canelo. I am certain of that.

Get controversial win over Lara, no rematch, get controversial win over Ggg, waits 4 years for a rematch, loses in dominant fashion against Bivol, wants immediate rematch. Bivol should tell him to go get a belt at 175 first to earn it. After all, wasn’t that the mentality of canelo and his fans when determining who deserves a match with him?
Let's look at the key difference here. Joshua gets stopped by ruiz, but goes into the immediate rematch. Joshua loser to usyk, but goes into the immediate rematch. Canelo loses to bivol, but goes for Golovkin instead. In both of Joshua's fights,he was at least competitive in certain areas, being able to drop ruiz and actually win some rounds off of usyk. Meanwhile canelo had no answers for bivol, and many people had him winning around 2 rounds. Hearn saw what we all saw. Canelo was outsized, outmaneuvered, outworked, and beaten to the punch with every exchange. They might be hoping that Artur and bivol beat the snot out of each other, and canelo can go back in and pick up the leftovers.
It's called a contract! What are kids being taught at school today. I despair.
