I see your point but that’s was also the same scenario with Benavidez at 168 who Canelo/Reynoso and fans deemed unworthy.

That sounds great in theory but then again money talks….

Bivol has a lucrative potential rematch waiting for him for Cinco De Mayo 2023 and he already won the first fight so why not do it again?

        "nemesis" ??

Surely Canelo is golovkins nemesis, not the other way around?!

He should fight Bivol at 168.

He has a better chance at beating the aged G by another I score majority decision.

Eddie was the rational human being here. Bivol's got Canelo's number and a rematch would end the same way; complete domination by the more skilled and composed Russian. People want to see that Canelo will make adjustments in a rematch, well so will Bivol. But at the end of the day it'll be the same result. Canelo can't **** at 175 unless they're faded fighters. The G fight will be more competitive.

Canelo should be fighting at 160 and his coach should be trying to get him there. Those are his true stomping grounds he should stay there.

I agree, and to his credit, Bivol offered to fight him @ 168 too! Canelo should've taken the offer!

This. He is natural MW. He can make MW again despite painful weight issues. He can be undisputed there. He beats 40 yo GGG, Charlo and Andrade without much trouble imo.

He could have been undisputed after the Jacobs fight but he chose Vodkalev. Couldn't he make his SMW journey after Andrade fight? Some critics about Canelo are right.
