Going the Canelo route sums it up perfectly. I'm not keen on it. But when she can't get the Serrano rematch, what can she do? Serrano don't want it. Taylor stole her soul that night.

I appreciate your respectful reply, I don't think that anyone's soul was taken but I do think that Taylor received some added wear, and tear/boxing mileage.
Serrano is fighting in August so we'll able able to see if there's any difference in her boxing style, approach, or will to engage at that point in time.
I think Serrano is going to come away with another knockout win added to her already extraordinary record, and then call out Taylor again.
I really want to see that rematch, which just might turn out to be even better than their first go round between them, I do think it's going to happen.

Well lets see if Taylor fights in September, if she doesn't then I seriously doubt that she was contemplating fighting Serrano on that date/month.
There are two sides to each story, and I didn't see Serrano or Taylor make a statement on the matter, I only heard Hearn make that statement.
We both know that he's Taylor promoter, and you can't expect him to say anything other than that Serrano turned down the fight.
Serrano wouldn't turn down a more than a million dollar fight against Taylor in September, to fight another opponent for possibly a quarter of that.
It just doesn't make any logical sense, and therefore isn't what probably happened here, if you remember they used the same excuse the last time that Serrano turned down the fight, (an out right lie).
Then the fight was finally made, and Serrano nearly knocked out Taylor having her do an impromptu dance on more than one occasion during their fight.
I'm of the belief that Taylor is taking a few more months off to heal psychologically, and physically from the battering she received in their first fight.
If Taylor doesn't fight another opponent in September which is the month they said she had offered to fight Serrano.
Then the chances are that she wasn't ready to fight Serrano or any other fighter so soon after the battering at the hands of Serrano, and needs more time to recuperate.
So the facts are we don't know the facts, because we aren't present during any of there negotiations, so or we're left with is are opinions, common sense, and biases.
Hopefully common sense prevails over all other probabilities, because the next time they fight, and I do think that they will have that rematch.
Because there's just to much money on the table, money that they can't make fighting anyone other then themselves, that fight will be another classic.

Even though Cyborg is inexperienced in full on boxing, I still think that's a dangerous fight for Katie. Like Hearn said, she'd probably have to move up unless they ask Cyborg to drain herself which I doubt she'll do. The Holm fight seems more equal imo. I wouldn't mind either tbh.

I agree with you brother, either one of those two will give her a tough go, if not put her through literal hell.

You said it Mammoth, some boxing fans just can't be honest it goes against their biases not only sports, but in life.
The way Taylor was battered, and it wasn't only in one round, she was stung in spots throughout the fight, and almost dropped just before the bell ending the fight.
If they can still be dishonest about what took place in front of their very own eyes, then there's nothing that you or I can say that will change their minds.

Lol, I know who Chantelle Cameron is. She fights for Matchroom. She would love to fight Taylor obviously, but certainly hasn't been calling it out, she gets asked and says she wants it. But shes focused on undisputed right now. Then I'm sure the Taylor fight happens after that.
