    Bobby Czyz

He has had turmoil in his career,

but how would you asess him as a fighter? Could the case be made that he is one of the better Lightheavyweight or Cruiserweight fighters of his era?

They threw (I think it was Lou Duva?) Czyz in with Mustafa *****ho before he was ready, and he got his ass kicked. I'm not saying it ruined him, but he was too young and inexperienced and *****ho beat him from ring post to ring post.Thats all I really remember...................

He won the IBF light Heavyweight title beating Kacar, then defended it 3 times before losing it to Charles Williams.

They rematched, after Czyz lost to Virgil Hill, and Bobby's corner threw in the towel. again.

Hopefully someone will produce a career profile or something....He started at 160 I think, was best at 175, and fat the rest of his career.

One thing that should be remembered about Czyz, is that he was never truly KO'd.

He went down a few times, but never did he stay the duration of the ten count on the canvas.

another thing that should be remembered about Bobby Czyz. He's Bobby Czyz, who gives a ****? He was a white bum with a padded record obviously.

lol whatever. Czyz was white and he was a bum. Prove me wrong. His biggest win was what, Donnie Lalonde?

And yeah he may not have been stopped but he basically quit at least twice.

Nah Czyz wasn't some complete journeyman that did this part time. I really have no respect for boxers like Mickey Ward. If you're a world class boxer, boxing should be your occupation, not construction.

I used to hate Czyz as a commentator too, because he was just plain wrong half the time. OMG, Al Bernstein is wrong 90% of the time! The biggest example of this still is the Ouma vs. Candelo fight. Anybody could see Ouma was EASILY winning but that idiot Bernstein kept insisting that Candelo was winning...until the 9th when Bernstein was actually shocked that Ouma stopped Candelo.

I wish Czyz would come back as a commentator if it'd get Bernstein gone. Or better yet Larry Merchant gone. Let Czyz stumble in drunk and drop Merchant with a punch. Then let him stumble over to Showtime and smash a beer bottle over Bernstein's head.
