Can't see the money being there for a UK fight. Inoue is an absolute idol in Japan and they'll put the yen up for a full unification fight.

Grab all the belts then move up in weight, not hard to figure out.

He'd be as big as he is now in Asia. Maybe he would get a buzz like Beterbiev since they stop guys similarly. The problem is, he got his eye jacked and touched up by Donaire and at the higher weights, fans would remember an aging fighter broke his orbital. That's not P4P but somehow people try to put any lame ahead of Crawford.

time for him to step up his level of competition, if an old washed up donaire with 4 or 5 bad losses is considered his signature win then that doesnt scream 'p4p number 1' to me

Interesting take, that. Would almost certainly have agreed with the other guy on the importance talent pool size, but this is a counter point that’s got me thinking

Candidate for great matches? YES. P4P best? That’s boxing writers fantasy world. The real P4P best is probably out there, being avoided, by mostly disputed title holder's that are content with not proving that they’re the best in their weight class.
