Roman was already with PBC, Matchroom won a purse bid for the fight I believe.

Roman had fought Doheny and McDonell on DAZN before so he fought 3 straight fights on DAZN he was with Thompson boxing officially. He had an one fight with Moises Flores on a PBC card before being on DAZN but he didn't start fighting on PBC regularly until the Payano fight which was after the MJ fight.

He was a regular on ShoBox but that has nothing to do with PBC.
