Well, maybe, maybe not. Any drastic change like that could throw your body off. Just saying. I could understand if he was trying to go back down to 160 going vegan but I don’t get doing that while going up. His body looked soft to me for Bivol.

I agree he looked softer at 175lbs. My brother and I both noticed at the weigh in. He had a small lip over his trunks during the fight. He was obviously still in great fighting shape but when you keep moving up in weight the law of diminishing returns starts to become more obvious.
He tried his sweeping right hook to the body all night and came up quite short often. That’s exhausting having to pull back your whiffed power shots. He had trouble reaching the taller fighter and keeping up with the pace. He also took extra shots he didn’t expect when he was resetting.
