Canelo: I'll fight Bivol at 175!

Nelo: I'll fight him at 175 again. I don't fight him at 168 because I don't want any excuses like he is drained etc..

GGGeezer is tune up fight for Bivol which is much likely in May 2023.

How rare. Most elite fighters love weight draining their opponents. I heard he was a vegan during his training for Bivol. Is this true? Cause if it is. That wasn’t very smart.

He didn't blame it on the vegan diet either. I watched an interview where he was asked if that was the cause. He said no excuses, he just lost that night.

He said it was other problems that he didn't want to go into detail about. But it definitely wasn't the vegan diet.

Well, maybe, maybe not. Any drastic change like that could throw your body off. Just saying. I could understand if he was trying to go back down to 160 going vegan but I don’t get doing that while going up. His body looked soft to me for Bivol.

He wasn't 'vegan' he said he 'incorporated some elements of a vegan diet'. He wasn't specific but most likely that meant cutting out or reducing dairy products which actually does have some fairly solid evidence based research in is favour. In fact most of us would be well advised to reduce our dairy intake and eat more fruit and veg although performance athletes will probably want a reasonable amount of meat or fish protein... you can perform on vegetable proteins alone but it's much more of a challenge getting the diet right.

The cards were ready to be rigged in the 1st fight. That wasn't a 115-113. He just has to go 12 rounds again and force a slip by Bivol which would be ruled a knocked down and he wins a rigged SD. His fans will go back to saying he is P4P despite the obvious.
