If you want to pretend that GGG was skillfully managed and avoided fighters, then at least name someone in his own fcking division who he supposedly ducked. GGG fought his entire career up through 40 yrs old at MW and he beat the piss out of every guy who had the balls to get in the ring with him coming up. Tell us about the MWs he ducked. The list of MWs who ducked him (including Canelo for a good stretch) is fairly long. I'm a Canelo fan as well, but, IMO, GGG should have one loss on his record and that's against Deryvanchenko.

Mora was an ex-champ who had clearly faded, which is the ideal opponent for a young fighter attempting to establish himself on the world-stage..... boxing has always worked that way.....

NOT saying that Golovkin could not have beaten Mora, just that the Latin Snake is a known mover/spoiler who is notoriously difficult to look good against..... and they were not willing to risk failing to put Mora away, looking bad in the process, or..... worse

when I heard Loeffler stuttering and stammering his way through half-a-dozen silly excuses, I knew what was up..... that was ridiculous..... because insisting that someone is irrelevant, and not a draw..... only works if you fight someone relevant who IS a draw..... not an unknown NO-HOPER on free TV who is WORSE

I cannot believe how little was spoken about that situation, both from the media and from the fans..... totally bizarre..... every other fighter from 140-160 would have cut off one of his fingers for that fight, and yet Golovkin would not so much as lift his little finger to make that fight, totally refusing to drop a single pound to fight the 153lb superstar

• Erislandy Lara? He moved up to middleweight last year (2021). Again, tell me guys who he ducked in his own weight class.
• Andre Ward? Ward's last fight at SMW was in 2013. He didn't fight for a year and a half after that because of shoulder surgery and a protracted lawsuit. According to GGG, HBO first proposed a fight between them in late 2013, but Ward's side said no, ostensibly due to his shoulder and mgmt circumstance. Ward's side then called out GGG in 2015 right as moved up to LHW. Again, call him a ***** if you want, but you don't duck guys two weight classes above you.
• BJS? WTF is wrong with your mind? BJS' own wife and kids know what would happen if BJS ever fought GGG. A beat down way worse than Canelo gave him. When exactly did GGG supposedly duck BJS, in your mind? You seem to suggest it was when GGG fought Vanes in May 2018.
