Is Usyk an ATG or is AJ trash?

    I wonder which it is.

The online fanbase adores Usyk, touting him as the best thing since sliced bread and unbeatable in the current climate, and this is "mainly" backed up by his win over AJ

Yet by the same token AJ is trash.

    No heart
    No chin
    No brain
    No gas tank
    Overrated power
    Stiff
    Bodybuilder
    Fraud

This is the same view held generally by the people who worship Usyk as the second coming of Ali

I do also note that AJ was destroyed and eviscerated vs Andy Ruiz Jr, blasted to the canvas 4x and made to QUIT by a little fat Mexican who isn't that good. Only winning the rematch because Ruiz ate himself out of being able to... You know... Move.

So how good is Usyk's points win over AJ really, and why is that win held in such high regard?

Ruiz Jr already beat Joshua FAR worse than Usyk did, FAR worse.

No, AJ is just trash. He’s 32 years old now and could be past his prime.

Usyk is GOAT CW. He is automatically ATG.

Bodybuilder is the biggest hypejob in the boxing.

        So, it's mixture of both.

Would you consider his performance vs AJ to be dissapointing then

Usyk is cruiserweight GOAT yet AJ won some rounds vs him and lasted 12

I can't imagine the same happening if AJ fought prime Holyfield.

Uysk is a great fighter for this time. But in all honesty, I don't think he beats Holyfield or Haye at their peak.

But in today's era, yes he is a great fighter.

Due to his achievements both Amateur and professional. It will be the greatest Heavyweight win of the past 20 years, if Joshua beats Usyk.

ATG cruiserweight, but not ATG HW. He still has Fury to fight and some other hungry prospects and solid contenders.

Does it really have to be one or the other ?

AJ is on an accelerated timeline if you look at his career vs Wilder and Fury. Even though he has a gold medal, I believe he has about the same number of amateur fights as the Charlos. I don't think you want to establish an identity on the fly in boxing. He's done well for his timeline. I still believe he beats Usyk and his career plays out similar to Vlad and Lennox both of who had nasty KOs early in their careers and were called trash. Don't believe Robert Garcia is the one though.

Joshua is much bigger man. Also, he used his reach advantage and tried to outbox Usyk. It was a chess game. Holyfield could KO AJ but also "could get KOed". Holyfield was blocking punches with his head. Usyk is technically superior.
