It’s definitely not the better fight but in terms of popularity, the Ppv numbers may be very similar. Crawford vs Spence individually haven’t done great Ppv numbers but combined, due to the demand of the fight it will do well. Canelo vs ggg 2 sold 1.2 mil Ppv’s and that was when it was promoted by hbo. Dazn is trash at promoting and since they never released the canelo/bivol numbers, it’s pretty obvious the buys were dog shet.

Hahaha hahaha, not even close Eddie. Not saying it won't do good, it's Nelo but this fight is years late. Not a great match up anymore. The only reason there is interest is because Nelo lost his last fight.

What’s wonky is that he isn’t wrong. Canelo’s fan base is a casual fan base that dreams and prays for a Mexican fighter to follow. His fans are overwhelmingly Mexican-american and they always look to follow who the hot Mexican fighter is out of tribalism. Most of that fan base doesn’t even know who Crawford or Spence are, they follow Canelo when they hear he is fighting on Cinco de Drinko or Mexican Independence Day. Young Edward is a sodding git of the first order but in this instance he the promoter of casuals isn’t wrong

Great fight. Golovkin is unbeaten and the greatest 160 pounder to ever lace them up. Canelo right up there P4P, only lost to Mayweather, Golovkin X2, and Bivol. Nash out.

He can say whatever he wants. If he said it's twice as big, it's somewhat believable. Saying it's 10x bigger just makes Hearn look like a fool, as usual.

Sadly, I have to agree with Hearn. I don’t think he’s reached Mayweather status but even a casual fan knows who Canelo is and probably knows a trilogy with GGG would be exciting. Loss or not Canelo is still in his prime and the thought of putting a definitive end to the rivalry would put ppl in seats and in front of screens. As a hardcore fan, if they double-booked I’d pay to see Spence/Crawford. I’m much more excited to see if that’s going to be a start of an even better trilogy.

On another note, I loved when trilogies happened one fight after another. Or at least not years apart. Each fight would be much more relevant and bring a bigger draw because there would be immediate impact on record, ranking, any titles held, etc. Let’s see if that’s what Spence/Crawford do

10x is a stretch. its canelo so ppl will watch but its only slightly bigger. Canelo is mainstream. Might be a bigger spectacle but not a better fight

Spence vs Crawford has to be promoted the right way! Hearn hit the nail on the head when he mentioned hardcore fans. We are the only ones that know these 2 magnificent fighters? Canelo brings a lot of fans because he has the 2 nations on his side the Mexican fans from Mejico and the Mexican Americans from USA! I don't think Spence or Crawford bring many fans to the table, other than the real hardcore fans! Jake Paul will bring bigger numbers on PPV than these 2 guys! As fake as he is he is more popular! Unfortunately.
