I'm deeply religious but yeah, He literally has no vested interest in the outcome of a pugilistic engagement of any sort or sports in general. But the man in me loves the sweet science!

When did AJ start believing in God?

It's a good thing if he does, because he needs a miracle to beat Usyk.

Not meaning to be snarky, but what’s up with those idiotic headphones around his neck? You never see a photo of him without those.

Usyk is of course a superbly skilled fighter, so everyone expects him to win again. But Joshua, with or without headphones, is certainly no slouch either. He’s shown the ability to learn from mistakes and the grit to get up off the canvas to win. Plus he’s a really big guy. It would not surprise me if he won this time around. You have to view Usyk as having the advantage, but it’d be a mistake to think Joshua has no chance, because he certainly does.

He's got a punchers chance at best. Usyk is a consummate professional, not a fat useless blob turning up for a payday like Andy Ruiz.

He’s of Nigerian parentage so it’s no surprise he believes in God

I've given Joshua a lot of **** this year, deservedly so I feel, at the end of the day its up to him now, physically this isn't an unwinnable fight for him, but it's mentally where he loses it, let's see what he does.

shame he doesn’t follow is true Nigerian spirituality/religion. The Yoruba have a full pantheon of gods and a spirituality 10,000 years old they allowed to be replaced via colonialism/imperialism
