Ortiz was already tested against Kavaliauskas. Let's be honest.
You've seen the fight. It was a see saw competitive fight and Vergil
finally managed to eke out an impressive KO.

When are we going to see Ennis with these types of fights?

Let's not mention Ortiz vs Ennis, both camps want none of it.

This thread is, like the title says, is about

REAL, AVAILABLE fights, not fights that can't be made at the moment.

Are Stanionis and Avensyan too much to ask right now?

They would give him real fights for as long as they last.

I’m a huge fan but it’s passed time for Ennis to take a major step up in competition. Stanionis would do…….

Kavaliuskas is available. There is Fundora who just announced he's willing to go down to 147. (He'll be a zombie if that happens.)... It's unbelievable isn't it? Hundreds of fighters around the globe and we can only name a handful. Is this division dying?

I'm not going to mention that highly protected Benn. He's irrelevant in the conversation....
Don't know why Brits let Hearn get away with feeding them garbage.

Who the hell did Eurobum Mean Machine beat to make him some kind of real test!? He dropped overrated hype job Crawford, that's his claim to fame. He got stopped though still. Nobody really knew who the guy was until then because he beat nobody really worth a damn. Virgil Ortiz is still untested and unproven to me at the top level.

Danny Garcia(yeah he's going to 154lbs. next fight), Keith Thurman or Yordenis Ugas. These guys are levels above the Eurobums like Mean Machine, Avensyan and Stanionis. Beating Eurobums at welterweight is no test, it's expected from actual top welterweights. Welterweight hasn't ever been terrible enough that Eurobums are cream of the crop. Ennis would knock out all of the Eurobums with ease, including Mean Machine.

I personally want to see Boots fight Thurman. Keef needs another tune up 1st though. Boots could take out a Eurobum in the meantime like Stanionis.

Ortiz was able to eek out a KO win?? Mean Machine won two rounds in that fight and ended up getting dropped 4x in the 8th round lol.

That is NOT the definition of a "eek" out KO win.

Stanionis! Fight for that other WBA Belt I think for a young fighters/rising contender like himself, winning that other WBA Belt for his first Belt is not a bad thing at all while he wait his turn for a shot at the real Belts

Thurman pricing himself out allegedly, but Boots vs Thurman is very interesting
