Tim Bradley Is A Low-Key Hater (Ramirez vs Nova)

Yeah. Agree with you. It was really bad. Basically they were saying Shakur is WAY WAY UP HERE and Ramirez is way way down here. And the irony is that as good as Shakur is, there are flaws. He's looked really good partly because of the magic of Top Rank matchmaking. Top Rank does that very well. Valdez was a very good fight for Shakur, but Valdez, style wize, was tailor made for Shakur. I think if Shakur were to fight an Issac Cruz or even Conceciao, he'd have a lot of problems. He wouldn't look so good. That cliche "styles make fights" applies to Shakur too. He needs to manage the ring better. He gets stuck on the ropes all the time, and it's not intentional. So ... I don't know man. You're right it's not professional. Ramirez is an ESPN fighter too, so it's very unprofessional to belittle someone you're supposed to promote. And this happens a lot. I think Bradley does his best to keep his biases in check, but he can't help himself. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I can't anymore.

lol What do you think Bradley is going to do when Spence beats Crawford? Yeah! Exactly. I was giving Bradley the benefit of the doubt at first, but man, it's just so obvious that he has favorites and he can't help himself. It's annoying AF.Comment

Ramirez will have to increase the clinches by 10 fold to catch Bradley's eye as the next "Young Master"Comment

Yeah! That's a good point! I noticed that about Ward, and that Ward kind of says things that make me think he's reciting something that Virgil Hunter told him. Ward is very much into the mentality of a guy. About digging down deep. About having to "sell out some nights." About seeing "what you're made of." He says these phrases A LOT.I like Tim but I feel like he's taken the worst habits of Atlas but used them to tow the company line of ESPN and Top Rank. At least Teddy's diatribes were usually reserved for the perceived injustices of the sport he encountered.
Tessitore is a professional play by play guy but he's also a shill for the channel and the promoter.
Ward is biased but he's biased to fighters that he thinks mirror his own approach to the sport (crafty, disciplined, etc).
I've actually grown to like Bernard Osuna, not sure why.
I've also noticed that Ward favors boxers he relates to. So Robiesy Ramirez for example, he was giving him a lot of respect. Where Tim was saying Robeisy looked flustered, Ward was saying that he looked like he was setting Nova up for later in the fight, making him fight his fight, a la Cuban style. And I noticed this about Olympic medalists, especially gold medalists. Ward has a lot of respect for Loma too, and you can tell by the way he commentates. So it's like you said in that when he can relate to a boxer, then that boxer will get compliments and respect from Ward.
No matter what, I like Atlas. He so damn intense, I love it. And he's kind of a throwback to the old days of boxing. He's kid of a boxing poet.
Anyway, that's insightful about Tim being similar to Teddy. I've even heard him use some of Teddy's catch phrases. I hear a lot of people used Teddy's catch phrases to be honest. Like "he's setting the table so he can eat!" You know, where referring to the jab setting up the right.Comment

Bradley's problem is that he is trying to argue with people who are naturally better speakers than him, and when he does he gets tripped up and called out on his bias and he isn't smart enough to have a witty comeback or explain himself properly.
It would be interesting to hear her commentary. I haven't heard her commentate yet.
The guy who's growing on me now is Sergio Mora. That guy really knows his boxing. Underrated color commentator. Paulie and Sergio are really good. I like Ward and Bradley too, but there are some qualities that I don't like, especially Bradley's bias.
This is Mikaela Mayer's commentary. Leagues better than Bradley (and Shawn Porter). She is much easier on the eye too. I don't want to see Tim's dome shining like an alien's testicle when he is on camera.

Bradley is a hater plain and simple. he got a gift with that robbery of Pac and thinks he knows everything. He wasnt even that good in my opinion. Dude is an example of a brother who didnt grow up around other brothers, yet when hes around them he totally changes his personality to fit in. Fake MF.Comment
