I keep expecting Beterbiev to show signs of age but that was his best yet.

Oh & F off bob, it's undesputed season & you work for the fighter he doesn't work for you.

How many great legacy fight's do we miss out on because of bob, rematchroom & al?
Let's say Bob did let the fight happen. Do you think Bivol is risking a Canelo payday to get a potential beatdown from Beterbiev? Of course not. I always suspected Bivol was the guy who says he wants big paydays and no challenges so he ends up fighting the Craig Richards and Salamovs of the world. I would be shocked if he even fought a Zurdo Ramirez next.

Some people actually thought Joe would win, perhaps more out of American patriotism than boxing knowledge.

Beterbiev was the big favourite, and now you know why. The guy is the real deal. I like Bivol too, and he has a fair chance, but of course power wise, Artur is deadlier.

Joe coming in like that was a recipe for disaster. Soon as I saw that I said it wasn’t going to go past 5 rounds. Ended up being half that.

As an aside, Warren needs to keep Yarde from Artur, that will be brutal.

Bob was clear in his last interview Beterviev vs Yarde in the UK (rather see Bivol obviously)

Err.. like many, I thought Smith Could win, not Would. AB is not untouchable and Jr can punch. I just didn´t know Smith´s plan was to rush face first to mid range and keep running into ABs right hand tho.

No Not Big George he was merely a "gabbler." repeating what others had said. Paul is good, and I like Roy Jones. They Know what they're talking about. and show it.

What rock are all the Canelo fans hiding under now? Remember they all said Canelo Beterbiev was a winnable fight for Canelo LOL.

Artur Beterbiev's priority was to nullify Joe's right-hand: Artur does so with footwork, circling to Smith's left-hand away from the ****er ; this also places Joe on the line or at dangerous angle.

In this clip Artur makes full use of the benefit of leading with your feet, being first to plant your legs, controlling the range and maneuvering Smith to his ( Beterbiev's ) right-hand.

More of the same, avoiding Joe's right, but Smith is coming in low as he uses the jab to find range and trying to get in ; you sacrifice a stiff power-jab. Artur knows this and decided to stand his ground and load-up on another right.

I love Artur's psychology, experience boxers get a read by their opponents reaction and behavior. I see Beterbiev checking if Joe will 'mirror' his own action ( putting up a high-guard ) as Artur comes forward. Joe complies, as such, Artur is manipulating Smith and has prepared another right hand around the constructed guard.
