i think he had problem outside the ring and because of that he was bad trained and could not focus. just look at the fight, tyson wasent the same. he didnt throw anything until round 8 when he throw a uppercut to douglas head.

when i watch the fight it look like Mike tyson wasent there, he think or distract by something, and he didnt got his trainer kevin rooney.

Bigger? douglas look fat and not trained at all, prime tyson would ko holyfield and douglas and give lennox lewis a really hard fight. only reason douglas was good that night was because his mother die, he he had nothing to lose and most important of all tyson was not tyson.

didnt tyson knocked down douglas round 8? and only 1 punch, prime tyson would throw away atleast 3-4 punch and that atleast every round but he didnt

When I said that wasn't an excuse, I meant I wasn't trying to make an excuse. Not Tyson making an excuse.

True that it wasn't the same Tyson as before, but it was enough. So maybe after Tyson dropped Buster and came back, maybe Tyson just wasn't prefered for it.
