Comments Thread For: Haney On Kambosos Rematch In Australia: I Feel Like I Did It Once, I Can Do It Again

Devin Haney is completely confident he'll beat George Kambosos Jr. just as soundly in their rematch as he did during their first fight. If Haney remains in the lightweight division, he'll have to box Kambosos next because he agreed to an immediate rematch in Australia when he signed a multi-fight agreement with Bob Arum's Top Rank Inc. and DiBella Entertainment late in March to secure his shot at full unification.

That Kambo was someone they felt they needed a rematch clause for is testament to how gullible the boxing establishment is

Haney might KO him this time around. Kambosos is a likable fighter but he’s nothing special.

I hope they rob this feather fisted track runner next fight..

He is a complete snoozer of a “fighter”

I posses zero interest to see him fight anyone.

Kam looses again. He doesn't have the ring IQ or talent to beat Haney.

No one wants the rematch, not even Kambosos. He is just trying to save face.

Another easy night for Mr. Jab ‘n Hug.

Kambo doesn’t get it: he’s ruined his brand. First by having no clue and no ambition last time out. Now by insisting on boring us all again.

Haney vs kambosos was one of the worst fights of the last decade. Absolutely miserable. ZERO excitement, fans booing, that’s the kind of fights that kill boxing. While Haney was running around, holding, jabbing and refusing to engage, fight, entertain and put on a show UFC was on and staged one of the most memorable fights of the last few years.
Imagine potential boxing fans spending their Saturday night watching Haney fight? ZERO chance they ever watch boxing again.
professional ranks are about entertainment and excitement, Haney is incapable of supplying that.
What a horrible, miserable, boring fight.

Kombosos does not have either a skillset or plan b to beat Haney. All his emotions muffle his clear thinking and logic and the fact that he is a counter-puncher and Haney is mentally more focused and clear-headed and calm and superior as a counter-puncher nets the same result. Maybe a closer fight but Haney would be the clear winner again.
