The Jose Pedraza-Richard Commey fight has a new site to go along with its new date. BoxingScene.com has learned that the 10-round, 140-pound between Pedraza and Commey will headline an ESPN broadcast August 27 from Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Puerto Rico's Pedraza, a former IBF junior lightweight and WBO lightweight champ, and Ghana's Commey, an ex-IBF lightweight champion, were initially scheduled to square off July 23 at Grand Casino Hinckley in Hinckley, Minnesota.

Haha what poor SOB are they going to have to overpay to fight Jared Anderson? That guy is a BEAST. Maybe an Efe Ajagba type who’s looking to get back in the mix….

This is a very good match up between two former world champion's.
It is definitely a must win for both fighters if they want to remain in the hunt for a title shot.
I like Pedraza's chance's to win in this fight, due to his slightly better boxing skill's.

Should be an entertaining fight. We'll see how Commey looks at weight class bigger.

Hopefully they get someone like Jerry Forrest or a Carlos Takam for Jared Anderson. Someone who will remain vertical and try to give a bit of resistance. I don't expect anyone more dangerous than that level for him quite yet. He needs someone durable who can go rounds and give a little back.

Top Rank has too many dates and not enough main event quality fighters to fill them..

ESPN needs to re-evaluate and bring in other promoters going forward next year.

Top Rank hasn’t developed one superstar caliber fighter from this deal with the exception of Tyson Fury, who was already leading there with the help of PBC before he signed on with Top Rank
