He looked really good against a more experienced fight and actually looked like he was the old veteran schooling a rookie. I expect great things from him and think we will be a world champion by his 10th fight. So did anyone see his 3 round domination tonight of Andrade who is a solid opponent with a decent record? What do you think his future holds and who would you like to see him fight?
Did anyone see Guillermo Rigondeaux on FNF tonight?

hmmm I dont like being the one thats a stick in the mud...but Andrade, Rigondeux's oppenent, is someone who got stopped by Rey Bautista.
I mean..the guy basically lost every time he left Brazil. literally. he won a few fights in Argentina early in his career, but thats it.
that Andrade guy was crackign me up though, ha! If youre going to go out and give up without trying like he did, please act like he did, hahaComment

I want to see him against an opponent who is not intimidated and will come forward throwing hard punches....see how he takes the pressure. I think we will see that soon because it seems they want to move him along fast.Comment

I know he was not a world beater but a good opponent with a solid record to put against a guy who only had 2 pro fights....someone who didn't have the goods may have been exposed we see it all of the time on FNF.hmmm I dont like being the one thats a stick in the mud...but Andrade, Rigondeux's oppenent, is someone who got stopped by Rey Bautista.

yea, but that Andrade guy didnt look like he could have pulled off the upset even if he was fighting a bum with a blown up record. Lets face it, he wasnt even attempting to fight. I think he threw 1 punch in the 2nd round...at least in the first two minutes. skill aside, his temperament in the fight was terrible.
the only guy that could have pulled off the upset tonight was that Santos guy from Puerto Rico, now THAT guy was game, and could have pulled off an upset against the right opponent.
eh, maybe Im just a hater...but I dont think Rigondeux is THAT amazing. he can counterpunch well, but thats mostly it.
If a worthwhile fighter could force the fight on the inside, I think they could beat him up.
and he is pretty old to make a huge mark on the division. I can see him winning an alphabet belt, but I dont think hes going to go much farther...Comment

That opinion isn't really based on much, he is comfortable counter punching so why should he bother taking himself out of his comfort zone against fighters he can easily handle? We have to see how he handles a more aggressive fighter with power before we can make an informed determination about what he can not do....if we want to be neutral that is.yea, but that Andrade guy didnt look like he could have pulled off the upset even if he was fighting a bum with a blown up record. I have no logical reasoning for me saying that. so I wont really argue with ya about itThat opinion isn't really based on much, he is comfortable counter punching so why should he bother taking himself out of his comfort zone against fighters he can easily handle? I dont know, I just get the feeling that hes going to be really beat up once someone takes him out of his element.
maybe its the fact that a bunch of amateur standouts have been getting upset lately by limited, but game opponents. I dunno.Comment

It does happen all of the time when someone gets overhyped, do you have Victor Ortiz in the back of your mind? I could see why you are skeptical about anyone who is unproven, which Rigondeaux is. I could honestly see Juanma out working him and maybe stopping him, if he doesn't have a great chin which we don't know about yet.I have no logical reasoning for me saying that. so I wont really argue with ya about it
