Berlanga is already ruined. We've seen his best. Next time? They are setting a horrible example. 10k for biting? That's setting a low bar. Most trials are settled by precedence

      @ the bold

      He may have been exposed
      Maybe not.

Again, the kid said he was sorry once he was able to clear his head.
It wasn't the worst offence in the sport. Hopefully it his last.
If not, his end will be official.

We don't want to ruin the kid.
        Next time shlt gets real.
We live in a world where if he tweeted that he’d be willing to bite someone he’d face more backlash than actually doing it. Thank heavens he didn’t tweet a sexist joke, or support a political party.

          Expectations

Society expect rules to be broken in a combat sport

Social media is a gathering place for pretentious snowflakes
Saying sorry for inane shlt is just the beginning of a persons fall from grace.
Similar to the GOT Walk Of Atonement.

I'm going to have to watch this fight again, because it was a boring 10 rounds of waiting for something to happen.
Elbow's, holding, biting, you name it everything, except for clean effective boxing, it was a disappointing fight.
Angulo's experience, and aggression frustrated an at times confused, and tentative Berlanga.
That said he should be fined, and suspended, Berlanga has to refocus, stay disciplined, and professional at all times.
That can be really difficult in a 10 round fight, but that's what it takes, and it's what he must be willing to do.
Berlanga has shown some *****'s in his armor, that need immediate correcting in order for his continued success.
Like Tim Bradley they may need to hire better sparring partners, so that he can be prepared for all the situation's that arise in the ring.
It also appears that he needs to put his ego in check, it may be hindering him when he fights, as well as when he speaks.
Some inspirational soul searching might just be what it takes for him to understand what's truly necessary for continued success.

Does anybody here remember Andrew Golota biting Samson Po'uha's neck?

              Ah, the good times...

Angelo was tailor made for Berlanga , an opponent that is right in front of you all fight easy to hit. Berlanga was supposed to be as he is touted able to KO him. Instead he spent the fight moving all around the ring on his back foot and trying to dance. He just doesn't really live up to the hype. Proof that there are levels , he KO'd easily nondescript opposition easily but when faced with a higher level fighter albeit one tailor made for his " power" he failed miserably. He became frustrated with his inability to hurt Angulo and resorted to ridiculous , shabby behavior. Boricua quit while your ahead.

                    Good riddance.

How many biters have there been in the modern era?

Of course the obvious one, but you got what, Kash Ali lol... Ivan Redkach, Golata as mentioned above. Any more?
