His predictions aren’t bad though, I’d say Fury beats Usyk on points but he definitely stops Joshua.

Parker’s personality is just a weird fit for boxing.
Very decent guy, seemingly, but he’s not a killer in any sense.

This kind of friendship normally happens (1) after fighters have retired, or (2) when they’re in weight classes so far removed from one over, that there’s no prospect of ever competing with each other.

Fury can call himself the best but hardcore fans won’t let him get away with claiming it , fantasy fight wins don’t apply here same thing went for Wilder. In the ring is where truths are made not boasting .
Right, tell that to the hordes of "hardcores" who think 60s Ali is unbeatable at HW despite only beating old or chinny LHWs and technically crude cruiserweights.

Or even Vitali Klitschko who is heralded as a H2H beast despite his lack of resume.

he beat a ko artist who was always ready to go anyway, wilder can’t box so what’s the big deal? A non boxing match win over klitchko? Some dreamboat heavyweight you got there son. Joshua has a far better resume than the fatty and usyk would be winning if not for a frustrated fury try the manhandling of the smaller man. Fury has a mountain to climb to cement any kind of recognition as a modern great.
look back over the years and make your own comparisons, to be great you got to fight and fight the best out there and he hasn’t has he? Take a look at his very questionable record in terms of remaining unbeaten. McDermott soundly beat him.

Parker strikes me as the type of fighter who lost his hunger and killer instinct the moment he made decent money.

Don't be so naïve, Wilder struggled with every southpaw he's faced and was getting thoroughly outfoxed by mediocrity like Szpilka and he's not even the Poundland version of Usyk but the bloody homeless version and the middleweight narrative is beyond a joke when did he last fight as a middleweight 15-16 years ago... it's like calling Pacquiao a Strawweight.
