Siablo, if it happens, it’ll be in the early rounds. I don’t recall Beterbiev fighting anyone with the physical and mental strength of Smitty.

I watched it again yesterday and today, it was NOT a flash knockdown.
They were exchanging hard blows, Johnson's left hook caught Artur well.
Beterbiev was stunned, when he got up he even stumbled a bit before recovering his position, and didn't smile at all. He was blinking.
It took almost a minute before he got back on track.
Johnson let him off the hook, didn't throw a single meaningful punch after he hurt him.
Look, I'm pretty sure Beterbiev will win, but Smith does have the proverbial puncher's chance.
Also: Beterbiev is getting older. If Smith, who's usually super fit, doesn't crumble, it may very well turn into a full-distance fight.

And Smith has a helluva left hook too! Just saying

I do t think Bievs has ever been hit with power like Smitty has. If Smith wins it’s in the first 5-6 IMHO

When I made my pick, I had the Fonfara/Smith fight in my mind where right before Smith dropped him the first time it looked like Fonfara hurt him and tried to take him out.

Fonfara is no Beterbiev, but Artur was dropped in an early exchange with Callum Johnson. Prior to getting dropped he was hit with some heavy shots in exchanges.

I expect Beterbiev to win but I took Smith in the pick'em and I will probably place some money on him as well.
