Well, BoxingScene is not the only one. It's a news item from Ellie Seckbach's interview with Roy Jones. I personally don't see anything wrong with it.

This is a horrible situation/war that's taking place as we post, and reply on Boxingscene, in Klitschko's native country of Ukraine.
Thousands of dead, wounded, million's of refugee's, billions in destroyed infrastructure, nuclear contamination from a damaged power plant.
These people are going through hell, it will take them years to recover, and it's not even over yet, so I can see why Klitschko said what he felt.
It didn't have anything to do with racism, as a matter of fact the Klitschko brother's have help build hospital's in Africa, to help the poor.
I don't think for a minute that Roy Jones supports the war Russia is waging against Ukraine, or that he supports *****'s overall policies.
The thing is whenever your considering doing business with, or becoming a citizen of another country that is a known adversary of your country.
That's when you have to do some research on that country before you get involved into something that can spiral out or even associated your intended purpose.
You can blame it on ignorance to the politics abroad in Jones' case, and on the misperception of Jones' action's in Klitschko's case.
As far as Jones duking it out with Klitschko, he's sound's like he's out of his mind, Klitschko would destroy him in the ring.
As for what's right, and wrong about America, and there's plenty to be said, this is my country born, raised, and swore an oath of allegiance to defend.

Klitschko is not fighting in war, just dancing around in front of cameras for PR. Thankfully Ukrainian ****s are losing territories at a fast clip and now Russia controls the land equal to England and Wales !! Klitschko bringing this up during a hall of fame induction ceremony was inappropriate and off topic. And the only reason he did it is because he knows the boxing media is a gossip gallery and most so called boxing fans are a bunch of tribalistic gossip girls. The first part of your post moves absolutely no one in most of the world. A lot of other non-white countries have been suffering from the same or worse for years and some centuries. That's a Ukrainian problem to deal with. I don't even approve of the US getting involved.
