    Did Berlanga REALLY beat Angulo??

During the and after the fight, I concluded that Berlanga tried to box more in this fight. He is definitely D minus level hence his opponent.

Yet, I saw Angulo (according to their level) was landing a lot more shots throughout the fight and blocking more with his defense.
EB's jabs were really not so educated and his defense was quite poor on the inside. His punch selectiona nd combos are HIGHLY limited as well.

I had Angulo winning and the scorecards should have been more on Angulo's side.

    Your thoguhts.

Solid post. I think 96-94 Angulo or a draw would have been proper.

I am not 100% sure Angulo “won”, but I know he didn’t lose, if that makes sense.

      I feel you man.

I think Angulo won but I feel your point man. I think corruption in the sport really showed up in this fight.

Man, after seeing that fight, Berlanga has a lot to work on definitely

As I like to remind posters the sport is called Boxing, not Punching.

Berlanga has power. That gets you past the bums. Can he win a fight at the top level on his boxing skills? I do not think so at this point.

Angulo has fought world class comp. He was ready for all Berlanga had. TR knew this that’s why those judges were selected.

As for corruption- we all know TR wasn’t going to have Berlanga lose on this card unless he got taken out on a stretcher. Even then he probably gets a draw lol.

I feel you, but disagree. I had Angulo winning.

Not punching of course, but Angulo had more success in the fight in almost all aspects.

I have no problem with you posting Angulo won. A number of posters think he won as well.

There were so many close rounds that 6-4 either way or a draw would have fine. Those cards were total garbo.
