How this clown won this fight is beyond me. Angulo landed the most and best power shots, just look at Berga-langa's face. He's a complete basic-***** overrated bum being pushed down people's throats through corruption.

I think when Berlanga gets KO'd will be a very busy day on the forums.

This is why he'll never improve and why he lost me as a fan. His Team tells him he did good when in fact he looked like an amateur (or worse) in there and he somehow really thinks he did good.
i do think he won but it was def not a landslide and they both seemed to be on the same level, which is not good for Berlanga. I agree that he has reached his ceiling with comments like these.
HIs so called "boxing" looked like he was just learning to box for the first time. No head movement, same 1 or 1-2 'combination', jab was super weak and could easily be countered by any of the B-level and above fighters @ 168, very slow, never changed speeds, never took advantage of the numerous mistakes Angulo made in there.
The entire 'performance' was very robotic and lacked creativity to find opportunities to do something. His trainers are just as bad too, never telling him to throw 3-4 punch combinations, move his head, counter effectively, etc.
That was definitely not professional boxing - that was a guy who showed up to the gym for the first time and was put against an old fighter to not make him look too bad and he still looked very bad.
Berlanga, please NEVER compare yourself to Cotto, Trinidad or any B+ fighter from PR. That was an embarrassing performance and you've become delusional in thinking you did anywhere near good. I truly hope you rewatch the fight and listen to the comments at the end. If you still believe that was anything better than an "F" performance, you're truly a lost cause.

I'm ashamed to admit I liked him 2 years ago. He's a clown.

Bringing in Malignaggi as a power punch trainer a few fights ago has really backfired. As he says, of course, the elite skills are still there, but the power, where is it now? As much as Nash wants Berlanga in his top 10 P4P list in his sig, I just can't rank him above the likes of Golovkin, Bivol, or Toad in the Hole. Nash out.

Berlan-go has become the type of fighter that people want to watch get knocked out, That is what happens when you over hype and pretend that a fighter is something that he is not. Now he is even believing the lie.....

He brought in Paulie, who I really like, as a power punch trainer? Interesting choice.

To say that I was Disappointed with Berlanga's performance would be huge understatement.
He said he had worked on polishing up his tools, and I was looking forward to a great fight.
This isn't what we got from him on this night, he looked tentative, unsure, and reluctant to go after Angulo.
He might have outpointed Angulo, but he looked horrible in the process of doing so.
He's so muscle bound, that his movement is noticeably affected by it.
He needs to work on his speed of hands, and feet, without any improvement on this part of his game, he's stuck at his current level.
He is boxing more in his fights, but it's in a safety first manner, which is dull, and boring to watch.
I don't know that he can fix it, but he does have to change his false bravado, and assessment of himself, at least in this fight.
Like I said this was his toughest opponent to date, lets see what he does in his next fight.

I’m calling it now. Berlanga is the new Broner. Except far more crude and zero personality.

Puerto Rican boxing is really in a rough patch right now

At some point top rank is going to put him in with Jesse hart (who I believe they still promote) and berlanga is going to get the **** beat out of him.
