I didn't know this was at welterweight, which brings to question what the hell was Josue's team thinking? Guys at welterweight hit just as hard if not harder then Zepeda.

Good point but either way, getting knocked out by Linger spells the end for Vargas.

Awful job by the referee for sure. He didn't do the 'home fighter' any favors. Career over. Makes you wonder what happens to the brain physiologically that you can no longer take a punch? I don't know the science in that but some irreversible damage/change seems to happen.

Man he got clipped. the fight with zepeda i was rooting for zepeda to work him over for all the trash talk and barking. this fight i was shocked and actually concerned for the kid. man vargas got clipped again , no punch resistance, legs were gone. kid got heart for getting back up but for 1 the ref should have stopped , 2 if the ref didnt stop it his corner should have definitely save their guy,
