This juiced up roid raging bastard killed a 40 year-old Javier Chatito Jáuregui sparring. I remember Kirkland used to whoop on sparring partners, guys that should have never been in there with him and I hated him for it. Loved how his career turned into ruin. This guy, kills a 40 year-old journeyman for nothing ---> wow.

After his career came to close, Jauregui became a team member of WBC 154-pound champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. He would always accompany Canelo during his big fights.

IThe article made allegations that Canelo, despite Jauregui's health issues, was using the veteran for sparring to prepare for his ring return on March 8th, which came against Alfredo Angulo. Not only did the article claim that Canelo was using him for sparring, it claimed that Canelo held nothing back and gave Jauregui bad beatings during the sessions.

Canelo was furious with the article, as Jauregui was a close friend of the entire team. He was even more furious that Televisa would stand behind such an article.

I think that's sick and I think Clenny is a sick person. That minimum weight he broke his jaw in a street fight, he came after him after and said he would have his head cut off.

I ran into Alvarez after training and I moved to the side to let him pass, but he ran into me. He asked me, "Why are you messing with my woman?" I told him that I don't even know her and all of a sudden he hit me with a left and right cross that fractured my jaw. I fell back and he hit me with two more punches — to the temple and the chest.
