Stop. He wouldn’t even have a shot in Nintendo wii boxing. His boxing skills are ass.

Even if he changes his counterpunching style and becomes more aggressive, he may put up a more spirited effort but I still see a clear decision for Haney because Kombosos, like most counterpunchers, will revert back to the style they have fought their whole career. In some cases, doing what you've always done will get you what you've always gotten, but it will be hard for Kombosos to realize that what he has always gotten - didn't happen in just one fight in his life; but he will probably think it will the next time, but it won't. Few leopards change their spots, Marco Antonio Barerra was a rarity.

Rolly vs. Kambosos - winner gets a Haney shot. I'd support that. Very intriguing match up, that one.

I'm not saying Ryan is all that, or that Charlo wouldn't be at risk in Australia. If you want the army to fight, you put them on death ground. Sun Tsu.

Haney should press more and put more on his punches and punch more in combination and stop Kambo
I don't think him not being a puncher is neccessarily true.

Look at Jermell Charlo for example.

His KO ratio is not that great but he actually is pound for pound one of the hardest punchers in the game.

Early in his career he fought as a slick defensive counter puncher, he never sat on his punches as a result.

He was being trained by Ronnie Shields, the same trainer as Erislandy Lara.

Then he switched to Derek James and became a KO artist.

            Did he suddenly develop power?

No, definitely not. If you look how hard his twin punches, then you know that he should also have power from the go since their are genetic identical copies of each other.

The style he fought and was taught was just not conducive to getting high percentage KOs.

I think Kambo is kinda the same. I think he does and always had power, but didn't discover how to use it until maybe around the time he started training with Manny. Also, he is in his prime, he is at the age where you are the physically strongest and fastest you will ever be.

Haney can get in real trouble if he underestimates Kambo's ability to hurt him, especially given Kambo's lignting quick reflexes and the fact that Kambo punches WITH you.

Its far easier to get hurt when you get hit while trying to land your own power punch because you're not guarding or anticipating incoming bombs at that precise moment.

Its why Haney stuck to one, one twos, and two ones. Why he didn't throw combinations or press forward like he did against Linares.

Watch the fight again and see what Kambo does every time Haney throws.

There's always a lighting quick counter left or counter right being unleashed every time Haney throws.

That's what caught Teo off guard in their fight and why Teo kept getting hit.

Haney knew this and planned for this though. But going on the offense and trying to get a KO will backfire badly.

I dont see it tbh. Haney looked like he barely had to break a sweat.

There shouldnt even be a rematch, and if there is, it should be in America.

He won't do that to his countryman and the bit of attention he is getting lately. I agree with you but he won't go against his countryman, he won't be invited back to a big event.
