    According to numerous reports in Johannesburg, lightweight boxer Simiso Buthelezi has passed away after suffering a severe brain bleed during a fight which took place this past weekend in Durban. Boxing South Africa (BSA) confirmed the passing on Wednesday.

          horrible situation, I was hoping the stoppage was early enough to not be a severe problem. Rest in peace Simiso.

              After watching the clip a few times it's sad but somehow uplifting. He truly fought until the dying end. You hear people say it but actually seeing it done is another thing. RIP to a true fighter.

                What's all the more absurd, Buthelezi had just knocked his opponent down. And the latter idiotically jumps in joy when the referee stops the fight, rather than understanding that something is seriously wrong.
