some ppl said the same thing about inoue donaire 2

it comes down to how they win
if canelo dominates GGG the same way as inoue, he should be given his props
if he doesn't then it may not mean as much

inoue has obliterated everyone hes fought. no one has ever done that to donaire. oubaali and gaballo are solid kos.

      usyk has not dominated everyone.
anthony joshua was also beat by a much smaller ruiz, who is avg

donaire is a beast, and the first time he fought inoue was the same age as ggg and porter.

canelo struggled with ggg, lara.. lost to mayweather, bivol

crawfords best win is porter and postol, who has basically lost to every top guy

GGG and porter had never been knocked out. Nonito has way more wear and tear than those 2.

Nonito was 37 the first fight. Porter is 34 today. Not the same age at all. Bud is older than porter bro

I think he deserves to be #1. People will knock on Donaire due to his age but he was not looking like an old fighter before this fight or even during this fight. Give Inoue his respect

no, donaire was 36 when he fought inoue.
similar age as GGG. porter was 2 yrs younger... it's not that far off

how do you know who has "far more" wear and tear between those 3?
porter had to retire. GGG's amateur and pro career combined, he's got a lot of miles.
nonito looked great in his last few fights. GGG didn't.

That was not the Donaire that Rigo beat. In fact the Donaire from the first fight that broke his socket is not the Donaire Rigo fought. Let's put this in perspective.

Donaire fought inoue 9 days before his 37th birthday. Nonito is 39 today. Porter is 34 today. And bud is 2 months older than porter.

Golovkin was undfeated and had been in no tough fights prior to the first canelo fight. No wear and tear. nonito had been knocked out and was 3-2 in his last 5 going into the first inoue fight. And he is 5-4 in his last 9 fights as we speak. Inoue ain't number 1 off of beating a 39 year old who is 5-4 in his last 9 fights.

People need to stop praising fighters for blowing through guys that they are supposed to beat and then act like they are the next best thing since sliced bread. Even his skills are not up to par. He does not have the skills that guys like crawford, usyk and spence showed. His defence is not that good as well. No active guard built in to his offense. He just hits hard, that's all.
Inoue's resume is actually really good. He's beaten Hernandez, Narvaez, Payano, Rodriguez, McDonnell, and Donaire. It's about as good as a fighter in the lower weight classes' resume can be. It's not his fault he's just so much better than everyone else.

people can show me all the ranking of the guys hes fought but his cv doesnt look that impressive to me in terms of names and the division he is in is terrible. his fans are so desperate to hype him they were telling everyone 39 isnt old
