Don't know why Kambosos is still crying. He did well with offensive fighters because he is a good counterpuncher but didn't know what to do against a defense first fighter.

No double, triple jabbing his way in, no sustain body attack and he did not employ his own jab.

I dont think a jab would have helped, probably hurt Kamboso. He would have been timed and countered himself. Someone that throws great hooks will be the one to beat Haney. No one is beating him at a jabbing contest. I think Tank can get the job done. He can stay inside the pocket, has great hooks and is too low for tank to constantly grab his hips.

I think Kombosas is highly underrated . He has some amazing footwork and great timing. He could help himself by not talking so much and carry himself more like a champion is supposed to (Example: Miguel Cotto) However, Ben Davison
fighters are the worst fighters, if you could even call them that. To think these guys are actually training to clinch! What is that garbage? I don’t care what excuse you come up with, clinching and holding for 2:30 mins of each round is disgusting and a insult to the sport. We are here to see BOXING, not a hug fest!

Don't worry about Ben, we probably won't see him again.

Styles make fights and Devin Haney is the absolute WRONG style for George. Frankly, I give George credit for taking the fight. Nobody wants to fight Devin because his jab, run and hold style is difficult to fight and not very entertaining. The fight reminded me of an ugly John Ruiz hug festival. That said, George doesn't have the jab, power or angles to take Devin off of his rhythm and for that reason I don't believe the rematch will be any different.

In the end, Devin is just a very bad style for George and always will be.

IMO, a prime Lomachanko would have been interesting but that's never going to happen.

Unfortunately a prime Loma didn't want that smoke. He preferred a franchise. Lol.

I really can't believe that one of his gameplans, wasn't to just double and triple the jab as you said and try to push Haney back.

Almost everyone who Haney has fought has been able to have him fighting off the back foot for most of the fight lol. But George didn't even try to force that issue

The same folks who are slamming Haney for so called “holding” are the same ones who praised hatton for tying up and “rasslin”

Haney did hold a lot, the ref should've done something about it as that is not allowed and not a viable defense, and for some fighters holding their opponent seems to be their best defense. And it shouldn't be.

BUT
Kambosos didn't do enough regardless of the holding to win that fight. Haney controlled the distance and Kambosos didnt do enough to change that. Holding or not, Haney wins that fight.
