The fight was basically a draw in the fans view. 50% say Serrano won, 50% say Taylor won. Bottom line is, if she goes to Ireland, she has to knock out Taylor.to win She's looking at it as a " no win" situation. Although money talks. Hearn probably low balled her. A ton of money will pour in for the rematch. I'm sure if Serrano was offered 2 million, she'd take it. Katie gets 3 , and let the greedy Hearn divide up the remaining 30 million.

And if anything it should be Taylor looking for a way out, since she almost got stopped, and in a 3 minute round she would have been. And yet despite that Taylor wants 3 minute rounds for the rematch. She is the one willing to push herself to the limits. Taylor is the Queen of her division. Serrano has won titles in 7 divisions and never been the Queen of even one. So it seems in all honesty that it is she that is looking for a bum hole to fight. Taylor stole her soul.

If you didn't hear that statement come out of Amanda Serrano's mouth, you can't take Eddy Hearn's word for it.
This guy is a two faced liar, he states what is beneficial for him, and the fighters that he promotes.
Amanda Serrano needs a fight in the interim to build up her confidence, really Eddy, or should I say the new "Crazy Eddy".
If anyone would need a confidence booster it would be Katie Taylor, whom was stumbling around the ring like a drunk, and nearly out on her feet.
You could see the uncontrollable surprise that her corner, family, fans, and even you had when she was announced the winner.
It really angered me to see that Serrano wasn't given her just due, after the performance she put on for the boxing world.
If you earn point's for for getting hit with punches then Taylor won, but if you earn point's for landing punches on your opponent then Serrano won.
As it is Serrano is returning to the ring on 8/13/2022, don't expect to see Taylor in the ring anytime soon, it's time to recuperate after escaping from a knockout loss.

I usually think Hearn is full of it but I believe him here. Every vibe Serrano has given off since the fight is that of a fighter who’s content she got her payday and doesn’t have the hunger she used to have. She wasn’t even upset about being robbed after the fight - she just kept talking about how happy she was to get a big payday and to spend some money. Serrano is like Caleb Plant right now- we won’t see her in the ring again until that bank account balance starts dropping.
