this is weird news, i kinda suspected something was up when serrano didnt come out and say lets do a rematch straight away after taylor said it, i mean a stadium fight in ireland would give them both massive paydays and taylor has never fought at home as a pro amazingly so it would be a huge event, whatever the outcome it would be great for both of them & im sure it would be another close fight with drama, i dont understand it to be honest, doesnt make sense

If you didn't hear that statement come out of Amanda Serrano's mouth, you can't take Eddy Hearn's word for it.
This guy is a two faced liar, he states what is beneficial for him, and the fighters that he promotes.
Amanda Serrano needs a fight in the interim to build up her confidence, really Eddy, or should I say the new "Crazy Eddy".
If anyone would need a confidence booster it would be Katie Taylor, whom was stumbling around the ring like a drunk, and nearly out on her feet.
You could see the uncontrollable surprise that her corner, family, fans, and even you had when she was announced the winner.
It really angered me to see that Serrano wasn't given her just due, after the performance she put on for the boxing world.
If you earn point's for for getting hit with punches then Taylor won, but if you earn point's for landing punches on your opponent then Serrano won.
As it is Serrano is returning to the ring on 8/13/2022, don't expect to see Taylor in the ring anytime soon, it's time to recuperate after escaping from a knockout loss.

Can you give me some examples of Eddie lying? If you're calling him a two faced liar, it would be extremely ironic if you were the liar in saying these things like everyone else who does, but can't come up with any examples.

By the way, Katie clearly won the fight. Amanda was competitive in some of the rounds, but Katie was taking most of them. I had it 8-2 for Katie. We can even get into which rounds and how many punches were landed in those said rounds to see who stands up to scrutiny if you want? But first give me some examples on Eddie.

1. The latest lie would him stating that Serrano doesn't want the rematch, she hasn't made that statement on ant platform.
2. Serrano needs to take another fight first to build up her confidence, this is just Hearn making up a story to make Serrano look weak.
3. Trying to cut Serrano's purse in half after they had already agreed a set dollar amount 2 years ago, which led to the cancellation of the fight.
4. Agreeing to a venue in the states, and then switching, and then changing the venue to the United Kingdom for their failed fight 2 years ago.

Those are at least four examples of his double dealing, within the sport of boxing, I can't think of any more off the top of my head.
That said I'm pretty sure that Serrano will fight that rematch against Taylor again, she knows that if she beat her once she could do so again.
There is way to much money on the table for the rematch, and they both know that they can't make that kind of money fighting against any other fighter.
So get ready whether it's towards the end of 2022, or the first quarter of 2023, Serrano, and Taylor should be fighting that rematch no matter where it's held.
So old girl Taylor, and her promoter Hearn know that they need to make that rematch as soon as possible, because Taylor can't wait 2 years like she did last time.
She's 35, only two years older than Serrano, but she's been ****** up twice as much, as Serrano in less than half the fights, and their first fight didn't help Taylor none either.

Boxing is scored round by round not total punches. That's why Taylor obviously won.
