Can we please stop calling him the former WBA Heavyweight Champion? He was A) the REGULAR/secondary champion and B) was immediately stripped after failed A & B samples of his post fight drug test. He later that same year tested positive yet again.

I have never recognized a regular or interim belt holder as a world champion just like anyone who held a WBO belt before 2004 a world champion. Povetkin, Bryan & Browne were never world champions in my eyes. The WBO really only started get recognized around 2004 & i never really knew why. Prior to that it was like NABF & NABO belts. A stepping stone belt asmany fighters vacated it to get a crack at the big 3.

Fa is a bum, his boxing ability is too one dimensional.

He needs to change his style and adapt correctly into the pro game. It seems like he's still living in his amateur peak.

I thought he was promising coming up, turns out his long hiatus from the sport has made him another crappy New Zealand fighter.

Boxers from NZ tend to be too loyal to NZ trainers and promoters

The trainers out there work in gyms that are usually hosting brawls between biker gang members, and then they are expected to train these rare kiwi talents to world level.

After 1 camp in the UK Parker already looked better than he ever has in his career which just proves my point.

I hate to slam fighters, but not that long ago this guy was touted as a legitimate contender. He looked like a total weekender on Saturday.

True, but not intentionally so. Hard to call them illegal when it was Fa's fault for turning away.

Not saying a DQ, but probably 5min recovery after Fa went down like he got sniped from the book depository

Yeah, that would have been fair.
