I don't see Kambosos being able to adjust in the rematch so we'll get more of the same. He doesn't have the skills to crack Haney's defense, longer reach, and movement. Haney is a bad style matchup for anybody, but for a limited fighter like Kambosos, it's doubly difficult. With Lopez, Kambosos got opportunities to score because Teo was stepping to him all pretty much all night.

Kambosos kinda blew it by playing it safe. He was never hurt, true, but he was numbingly outclassed in a fight totally devoid of drama or action. I don't see the rematch drawing as much business interest because Kambosos allowed the 1st one to stink bad. And it was on Kambosos to press the fight and engage because anyone could predict what Haney would do to win.

I see that Kambosos has been drinking Amir Khan delusional juice. He only bothered Haney with a handful of punches. And I never saw that Haney was really hurt by any one punch. Styles make fights. I learned that Kambosos can outbox Lopez, and that Haney can outbox Kambosos.

I do believe that Haney can survive Loma and perhaps Lopez - that's if he doesn't "Rolly" run into a massive power punch. I think Shakur Stevenson, however, will have Haney's number.

That fight will never happen. Shakur and Haney. Promotors avoid fights like that unless it's a must. Too boring for the fans to have two counterpunchers just staring at each other from across the ring. You have to match them up correctly so it's not a snooze fest.

Great for Haney. Undisputed at 23. When garcia, tank and Teo had their moments to shine, Haney stayed patient and confident. He is reaping the rewards now. I said George isn't an easy night work for anyone. Devin won this fight in 2nd Gear. George never pushed devin really.

Holy ****, he’s only 23? He throws a nice jab, has great movement and speaks/comes across really well. But it’s hard to get excited about him when he has zero power. Hope he somehow develops some more respectable power.

Yeah. There's sneaky ways of breaking the clinch. You can apply pressure on elbow joints and other areas, whereby you can do damage. Usually a guy will scream out when you do that but the ref will think you just landed a punch. But you're guaranteed for you opponent to think twice about clinching. I'll have to rewatch the fight and see what Georgie can do differently.

BTW, Haney was dipping down below his legs and the belt line almost every time he ducked, and that's not allowed for the same reason you're not allowed to turn your back on your opponent.

Haney did what he was supposed to, thoroughly dominated the champion in his own country in front of his own nationalistic fans. What do you casuals want him do do? I said it before the fight that after this bout we will get another delusional fighter and his fanbase. It all panned out exactly as predicted. Just succk it up and move on if you can.
