That's great so am I, that said I'm still not sure who wins this fight between them.
I'm a supporter of both of these gifted fighters, and am ready to see them in action against the top fighters in their division.

And you're off on about 15 more wins and one loss for DMJ opponents. I did the math before his last fight, just to compare when did benavidez started fighting the same competition Morrell's jr had in 6 fights. From 12 to 18 is where they have face similar competition. Of course we have to take into consideration that by the time benavidez had 12 professional fights, he didn't have much experience as an amateur, Morell jr alrady had 130-2 amateur record. So why wait 3 years and 25 more journeymen to face each other? Morell jr ain't David Reid, and benavidez is not Calzaghe.
Your right it was 6 more wins for Morrells opponents 121-18-6 (74 KO's), but in 7 fights not in 6 as you stated.
I was wrong on the totals of Benavides' opponent's as well 116-71-6 (71 KO's), but in 16 fights into his career not 14 fights.
I was able to recheck the number's without distraction's today, but I thank you for pointing out the miscalculation's on my part.
I appreciate your respectful replies to my comment's, this is what this platform is supposed to be about respectful dialogue, not the disrespectful profanity laced post's that are sometimes made on this platform.

Some people can't have an intelligent discussion without profanities. Some fans don't understand that having this discussions is part of the fun, predicting who's going to win, and all that. Once the fight is over, two things happes, all questions has been answered, or more questions arise. But the fun continues. Be safe.

It's going to be a good fight, besides, who's out there that can challenge any of those two?

I like watch both fighters ply their trade, and we don't know yet if either one, if not both turn out to be better the two fighters aren't as good as.
They might not even come close to emulating their ring accomplishment's, but for sure at this stage in their career's they aren't in Reid's, or Calzaghe's class.
That said I'm looking forward to Benavides, and Morrell facing off against all of the fighters that are ranked in the 168 pound division, or if the move up in the Cruiser Weight division.
Thank you, no apologies needed. Just a misunderstanding. I'll love for Morell to get a few fights in, before diving into the deep blue, but it's what it's. I don't see anyone around his weight class that can give him real problems.

Oh they've got challenger's out there such as Canelo, Hart, Andrade, Ryder, Jacobs, Plant, Richards, Gongora, and maybe Berlanga next year if he can keep on improving, and winning.
I can't defend him the way I've Benavides, and Morrell, but if he can come out on top in his 3 scheduled fights this year 6/22, 9/22, and 12/22, then I believe 2023, will be his breakout year.
Berlanga has a major/dangerous challenge to get by in Roamer Angulo 27-2 (23 KO's), this coming Saturday, lets see how he does in that fight.
Angulo's only two losses came against undefeated world champion's, David Benvides; RTD in 10, and Gilberto Ramirez; decision in 12.

berlanga has a chance in any fight, he can punch. Let's see what he can do in these coming fights. Still I believe he's a couple of steps behind Morell jr. In any case, I have always supported portoricans fighters.

I would definitely agree with that statement Berlanga is a few step's behind Morrell Jr, maybe more than just a few.
He's also more fluid with his punches, combination's, and even with the way he moves around the ring.
Berlanga really needs to work on his foot movement, athleticism, combination punching, even his head movement.
Pretty much everything, but you can't argue with an undefeated record like his, and if he ever relaxes in the ring watch out.
Right now he's a bit to stiff, muscle bound, and ponderous of foot, he's young enough to make the corrections in traini8ng camp.
