Yeah, that's what I mean, and it's hard to push those numbers, and push this as a 50-50 fight, like they could with fight 1, because of not only how easily Haney won (far easier than the scorecards, lost no more than 2 rounds) but also, stylistically, not only is Haney a very bad matchup in that way for Kambosas, but also, in terms of entertainment, there is little, when you combine Haney's skillset vs Kambosas's limitations.

Kambosas can beat some top guys sometimes, of a certain style, but not Haney. Haney also, is only the type of guy you want to see in top matches. Tank, Too (yes, I know, but Teo's ceiling is higher than Kambosas, Loma, Garcia, etc. As Haney, when in a comfortable fight, fights safe and it's a bit boring, but he'd never be able to fight safe against a guy like Tank for example, where that 1 shot and over danger lurks, and you have to get the guys respect. Nash out.

Obviously it hasn't ever subsidized boxing. I'm saying it would be good if it did - like the Aussie gov't does.

Hmm, I was not aware that the Australian government bankrolled fights.

Jim Kambosos was in the corner. Why didn't he say anything ?

One fault I could pick with the fight is the referee was pretty awful he allowed for too much holding, he basically was allowing the fight to have no inside fighting. I suspect If Kambosos does opt to do a rematch (I don't think he should) he should look at picking a referee who will allow the action to happen. Far too much clinching, just kinda stinking up the fight, a good amount was thrown but we rarely saw any big hitting moments because the referee was preventing it from happening.

Nothing worse when a referee basically ruins the fight, remember that being the case with the Maidana V Mayweather 2 fight. They're meant to be fighting not hugging it out.

I couldn’t agree more BUT that’s easy to say than do.

The ref had absolutely no influence on the outcome. Don't put yourself in a position where your being held. Lots of fighters " try " to hold. Throwing punches is one way not to get held. No excuses at all. Horrible fight by both fighters.

Not entirely true, I remember plenty of times watching Wladimir Klitschko fights and the referees would constantly let him away with the jab jab grab tactic. Haney wasn't as blatant as that obviously, but nonetheless its bad for the fans/

What does that mean specifically? The fight is the event, I thought.
