Let’s be honest lads what can Georgie do differently

Get inside more would be the obvious choice but if he does Haney has the power to hurt him as seen by the jabs that jolted back Kambos head and shook him up. Not sure unless he can improve his chin and that’s what he needs to get through Haney.

High guard - Either win rounds for effective pressure or get beat up and probably stopped. He's a real limited fighter.

He can make sure that the referee won't let Haney cheat all fight long. Haney never tied up, all he did was clinch. That's illegal. Points needed to be taken away. Haney was also ducking below the belt line all night long. That's also illegal because it prevented George from punching because you can't punch the back or the back of the head.

Apparently Haney thought George was so dangerous that he had to cheat from beginning to end.

I know you people will say I'm being a hater or this and that, but I'm being genuine here. No body should be allowed to do this because it's flat out illegal. So that would be Georges first step, get a competent referee and a competent corner who will make noise about this and complain.

If Haney were prevented from cheating, I wonder what the fight would have looked like. I'm totally serious.

        Not a lot.

Kambosos isn’t really an inside fighter. His best attributes is sitting right on the edge of range and countering with quick combinations and timing. He’s excellent at that. That’s why I was one of the only people on here that said he’s going to give Teo problems, it was a good style for Kambosos to do what he does best.

But that style isn’t going to work so well v Haney who is more rangy and uses that to his advantage, and that’s pretty much what we saw.

Kambosos isn’t really a come forward fighter, not a pressure fighter, doesn’t really set up his own work because he relies on counters, not physically that strong etc. if you can’t outbox Haney, then you need those other attributes.

But Kambosos just really wants to sit on the edge of range, that’s not gonna work. Haney will stay even further out of range for 12 rounds and stink out the joint if he has to. Then just smother and hold at a closer range.

He is very limited. He does not have any answers, and it will be an uphill battle. He had success with teofimo in the past because teofimo fought with emotion and was careless as F compared to the loma fight. If the teofimo that fought loma showed up, kambosos would have lost that fight too.

I would rather watch Browne - Fa rematch, to be honest.

Now, Haney fought a classic big man fight.

If Anthony Joshua could fight like that? He would beat Uysk 12-0 in their rematch.

Jab, Move, Straight punches down the pipe, tying a fighter up on the inside and rough house tactics etc.

Haney due to being a big light weight, actually fights like a super heavyweight vs some of these fighters.

Joshua unfortunately does not for a super heavyweight have a good big man game. Therefor he has to fight a more aggressive fight during his rematch with Usyk.

AJ struggles to land his straight shots at range.

They’re pushed, often telegraphed and lack speed and snap.

His mid-range hooks and uppercuts are what he excels at

I know, his Jab is not strong enough ether.

Sometimes it is good, and then sometimes it just tails off is very passive. Shades of David Price.

That is why he needs to just embrace is mid range offense to the maximum. And he can improve his jab, as I think that is quite easy to improve etc.

You picked Kambosos to win, right?
