Yes, I gave him the credit for seizing on the opportunity Teo gave him, he played the mind game extremely well. Teo was mentally completely unsettled. His pride was his downfall.

      Fenech is absolutely correct.
Hearing Kambosos corner instructions between the 11th and 12th i yelled out to my t.v. " Tell him he needs a Knockout to win ".

The reality is they could say what they want but Kambosos isn’t that kind of fighter, he’s not a come forward pressure fighter that’s going to get on your chest and work. You can’t do it if you don’t know how. that’s why he looked clumsy and missed badly when he got desperate and tried to pressure

Kambosos is only really very good at one thing, that’s standing on the edge of range and trying to counter. It’s very effective against some fighters who will commit but good luck beating Haney if that’s all you have in your arsenal, it’s playing into his hands.

He wasn't good enough period, there's no need for an inquest, he doesn't have it, it's not there, simple.

It's the art of deception Jeff. Deceptively acting like you can win, when you just can't. There's levels to this Jeff.

Sometimes the advice doesn't come, because they don't know what advice to give. I'm guessing his corner new he was out of his depth.

Yeah at the end of the day if he pressed more he was just going to get countered more, the only tactic there was try and stay in the fight and hope for an opening by Haney making a mistake and getting out of position. You could tell Kambosos was disheartened and just didn't have it in him to come forward and take risks, Haney softened him up with the jab and Kambosos was content to just leave it there and not risk anything harder.

Maybe Kambosos could have tried to get a bit more rough and dirty in there as I'm sure the ref would have been leniant on him but that was about the only option avaliable to him.

"George, move your head from side to side when you come close, maybe you will avoid Haneys jab".
Now that would have been nice to hear from Kambosos corner. Or maybe during training. Didn't they watch
                    any film pre-fight?

                      I didnt catch that.
Usually a straight up " you need a knockout to win " would get the message through.
