It was a dominating performance but it wasn't entertaining.....and in my honest opinion, it doesn't have to be. Not everyone has to fight an "exciting" style.

You guys don't get it. Haney failed to put an exclamation mark on his performance the same way he failed against linares. Once he steps up his opposition, he's gonna need more than pot shotting his jab and tying his opponent and running around the ring. He's going to have to throw combinations and commit more and sit on his shots otherwise he will lose. Potshots only get you so far and that's exactly what he did in this fight and the linares fight. Nothing else.

Haney just gets the W and puts everyone to sleep in the process. He is what he is, a really good fighter who will never be a crowd pleaser.

Don't know who could beat such style based solely on all kinds of tricks of not getting hit and potshotting. He does all the survivalist style like ducking very low, clinches and disengages at the slightest touch. I doubt Tank Davis will ever mention his name again. That's not something casuals would want to see again.

Someone that's got just as much ability but willing to go the extra mile. He even said post fight he took the last round off lmao. That's not a p4p level fighter.

He's just gone to the other side of the world, as a title holder, to fight a three belt champion in his own country.

              And won comfortably.

              Not impressive enough for people?
