A champion, you should have more wrinkles to your game. You should be able to get by a jab, cut off a ring. At the same time, if youre the "A side", there's some responsibility on you to deliver a fight. Not just find something safe that works, and cruise through a snoozer. Maybe you have engage the guy a little, though you dont have to.

Forget the pettiness. Haney and Loma are the 2 best LW’s imo. I want to see them fight next.
Yes, let's just see that fight. I'm not big on avoiding because you were avoided, yada yada. Everybody has a gripe if they want one. Just fight; that's why we're here.

Hard to throw punches at someone running away or clinching. Either way, I have no desire to see a rematch or any other Haney fight. Yawn.

Haney put on a boxing clinic. Did a great job. That said, I lost interest in watching the fight at midpoint. Why? Holding, hitting & running isn’t something I want to see. Reminded me of watching Lara 10 years ago.
He will whip Kam even easier in a rematch. Kam is so predictable. Holds his hands low and doesnt want to come forward. Pure counterpuncher. That’s Haneys comfort spot. Cant give him that to beat him.

Haney did what he had to do. Was it the most exciting fight in the world? No but a boring winner is better than an exciting loser! Of course you do not want to do that in every fight but Haney now can fight the top tier guys as a unified champ. My money is on Haney over Tank but not Shakur!

This fight went about as accurate as I had predicted it would go. What a snoozefest. Is Haney destined to be the next Fraud Jr.? People walking out of the fight midway because they finally woke up and realized they were still there?

Cong**** on the win and becoming the undisputed lw champ and probably the undisputed most boring non-risk taking champ in the sport. Jab, grab and flee are not going to endear you to casuals. Your “dreams” of becoming a US ppv star will never come to fruition with your sleep-inducing” safety 1st style. Would have been a shock to see you actually try and back your opponent against the ropes and at least try once to maybe “buzz” your opponent. But props and enjoy fighting on regular espn…unless Davis chooses to fight You - which is extremely unlikely to happen since He cant risk that 0 for once in his career.

What an incredibly boring fight. Haney hugged and ran his way to that win. No desire to watch a rematch or another fight from him again.

Yes Haney did what he needed to do to win the fight, but he's not going to have much of a fan base with his feather fisted performances! 15 KOs of 28 fights confirms that! Booorrring!
