Comments Thread For: Daniel Roman: Fulton-Figueroa Was A Close Fight; I Think It Was A Draw, If Anything

Daniel Roman has a unique understanding of how Brandon Figueroa feels. Roman lost a split decision and two world titles to an undefeated fighter in a 122-pound championship unification bout in January 2020 and didn't get a rematch. Like Figueroa felt after his loss to Stephen Fulton, Roman believes he did enough to beat Uzbekistan's Murodjon Akhmadaliev almost 2 1/2 years ago in Miami.

I had Roman beating MJ and I had Fulton-Figueroa a draw.

    Picking Fulton over Roman.

Fulton-Figueroa was a close fight. But the right guy won in my book

I also score 116-112 for Fulton who did a better job overall
