"Akhmadaliev edged Roman by a debatable split decision". What utter garbage. Thats a straight up lie. Akhmadaliev won fair and square. They tried to rob him of the win and Idecs pushing the same lie now.
Fulton will most likely outbox Danny just like Akhmadaliev did.

Seems to be more rematch clauses than ever these days. You even get guys making their debuts who have them.

I think Fulton wins this one, and he has a strong mentality. But it seemed to some of us that AJ accepted defeat vs Usyk (and Ruiz) easier because he knew he could just run it back straight away. That's the big drawback for getting your fighter a rematch clause, they might not go 100% to win. I don't expect that to be true of Fulton, he's still young and hungry, but it will be true of other fighters every now and then, AJ isn't the only boxer with that mentality.

Was Roman mandatory ? No ? Well then Fulton gave him an opportunity. Period. Purse, rematch clause, forsnt change the fact that Fulton didn’t have to fight him but he did. Danny has a chance at two belts. He was certainly given an opportunity here.

Pretty much any time a champion is making a voluntary defense they get a rematch clause this is hot air if Roman had the belts his team would've made the same demands.

That was a very close fight. No lie about that.
