We know how Tank operates. If he's not the A side, and if there's a 50 percent chance that he can lose, it's a no go. I haven't seen him change his MO for anything. And I don't like that Floyd Sr. said that Haney made Tank look like Kambosos when they sparred. I'd like to see Loma first because he has the special skills to break Haney. He already agreed to fight Loma, as I understand it.
Is Devin Haney The "Boogyman"?

That article recently published still has me thinking about it. I get being confident, but saying everyone is ducking you just seems like too much to me. So in case you missed it, Devin says that Ryan Garcia is ducking him. He said Lomachenko is ducking him. He said that Teofimo Lopez is ducking him. He said that Tank Davis is ducking him too. He's not ducking anyone, but everyone is ducking him.
So what do people think here?
How does Devin Haney vs Gervonta Davis go? Who wins? What about Haney vs Loma? Haney vs Garcia and Haney vs Lopez?
Personally I think Loma beats Devin right now. I think he is broken down just like Loma broke down Luke Campbell. Like a blend of Luke and Rigo.
I think Tank Davis KO's Haney. I think Lopez stops Haney too.
The only fight that I think would be close is Garcia because Garcia's footwork is garbage. But that's it. And I think Garcia beat Haney four times out of six in the amateurs.
What's going on with Haney?
I think Haney beats everyone at 135, he'll take away their strengths.
Oh and eveyone keeps talking about Haney chin but he's never been down, Lopez, Davis, Garcia & Lomachenko have.

Kambosos is limited. He struggled with boxers and movers in Bey and Lee Selby, although he was able to close the distance occasionally. Admittedly Haney has been reflexes. But Haney hasn't ever fought a puncher. When I see Haney fighting Kambosos as if he were George Foreman, there's a reason. He even said that he was worried about getting clipped, and that's why he fought that way.
As to whether he beats everyone, I suppose it's possible. But southpaws are going to give him a hell of a lot problems. I can see that now. He makes a lot of repetitive movements. Easy to adjust to and time. Tank and Loma are two guys that can end Haney's run.Comment

Sonny LIston was a boogeyman. He was a champion and no one wanted to fight him. Same with Golovkin. He was a champion and no one wanted to fight him. People eventually did, but many avoided those two.
So many it's not so much as high risk, low reward but that the risk is greater than the reward, that even for a championship fight, many boxers don't believe they have a shot at beating them.
Usually a boogyman has significant KO power too, but I suppose that's not always the case. If you can pitch a shutout (kind of like Devin) or make them quit (like Loma), then you can be a boogeyman too.
I still think that for two of Devin's fights (Linares and Kambosos), Devin would not have been able to win so many rounds or win at all unless he had help from the referee.Comment

I also think that TeoFimp Lopez can beat Haney, definitely at 140 pounds.
I don't see anyone who can beat him at 135 pounds, Davis will be out boxed.
Lomachenko will be his toughest fight at 135 pounds.
