Lubin is not a warrior type of fighter, thats his problem, he should have just boxed against fundora (like his coach said) and he would have won. He doesn't have the facilities to be a "warrior" he should just learn to be a defensive fighter. When he was boxing fundora he was winning.

I can't imagine how a guy the size of Lubin would successfully box a guy as tall and long as Fundora. How would he even touch him?

When we see these kinds of matchups, between a tall guy and short guy, most viewers expect it to be a matter of inside vs outside.

And sometimes, when the guy with the shorter reach doesnt get the memo, and spends the first couple rounds missing and getting touched up, we're all wondering when he's going to realize the obvious and start moving inside.

Why wouldn't that be Lubin's best shot against Fundora?

I liked Lubin coming up as a prospect...very skilled, offensive fighter. He has his flaws but it's because of those flaws and his style that he's entertaining whenever he steps in the ring.

Mayweather vs corrales was an excellent example of how to out box a taller fighter. Haye vs valuev is another example.

Fundora may be tall but he is terrible at using his reach..he doesnt use his reach. He fights exclusively on the inside. Lubin had hurt fundora a couple of times and even dropped him. He could have picked his shots and used his lateral movement like how his trainer had davis do against rolly but instead tried to stand there and duke it out with fundora and had his face rearranged..
