that amateur fight means nothing. joe takes the first few rounds to get warmed up, lets see if usyk is still dancing around in the 2nd half of the fight. joe joyce is a completely different animal to joshua

Slow Joyce is one of my favorite fighters. Slow as molasses, iron jaw, clubbing puncher. Gets on u like mold and never gets tired

I'd like to see that fight. In fact is like to see Joyce in with any/all of Usyk, Joshua and Fury. I think he gives them all big problems and can come away with more wins than losses.

Joyce is going to have a very hard time getting big names to face him in the first place. The risk/reward factor of fighting him is not good at all, plus hes old enough that you wont have to wait long before hes retired or washed up.

What Usyk did in a 3 round fight years ago has no relevance in the pros.

Audley harrison could win a 3 round fight vs Joyce. Probably even now.

            12 rounds is entirely different.

Joyce is only 1 year older then Usyk . The forum is way to obsessed with age on here and unlike Usyk he doesn’t rely on speed and guile he’d outlast Usyk as a top heavyweight. Usyk May very well not last long at all depending how the A.J fight goes down ? For Usyk to be a top guy he needs to fight almost perfectly against big boxer / punchers and even if he beats A.J that’s a tall ask if he’s going to have the same abilities each fight giving up size differences ..

It was a 5 round bout.

I may be in the minority here, but I want to see Joyce use his mouth a bit more. It may be the only way that prospective opponents will fight him - public demand and numbers. The risk-reward needs to be altered. I enjoy watching the strange way that he somehow lands shots even though they seem to come so slowly and want to see more of it!

By the end of the 3rd Usyk was showing fatigue a bit and slowing down slightly. To me he looked a bit relieved to hear the bell. I remember actually thinking if these guys meet in the pros Joyce will have a way better chance. It’s no secret that the majority of people believe that the best way to beat Usyk is to bully and crush him, who’s style is more like that than Joyce’s?
Yeah but that was a amatuer Usyk who probaly wasnt as experienced and he would be now going round more than 3 or 4 rounds in a fight. Usyk is alot more experienced now himself and knows how to pace himself in a fight. Joyce is a dangerous guy just because he's a unit of a man with a crazy engine but he does have big flaws that can be exploited from the right opponent and I just think usyks foot speed and stuff would get him the win in that fight

                      Literally?
