It's funny how people on here claim that inoue was robbed of his knockout streak by a stretched count, but they are Ray Charles to the long count they gave Fury against Wilder. Another of those knockdowns of fury was supposed to be waved off, but he was still allowed to fight the bias is unbelievable

      That's my feeling too

But, on another note, Inoue fighting the best part of the fight with a broken orbital bone against a puncher like Donairre puts the likes of BJ Saunders and Dunois to shame, doesn't it?

I think so as well, I think Monster will adjust this time around and put Nonito down... although I would like that it happens the other way round.

The first fight was definitely a TKO/KO.

The ref stopped Inoue from finishing Donaire off when he was hurt. In any other fight when the ref stops the action while the opponent is still standing he will wave it off right after. The ref in that fight stops Inoue and gives Donaire a chance to recover. Wtf??

That fight answered the questions that people had about Inoue’s chin and heart. Donaire pushed him to the limit.

I’m a little bit surprised that Inoue took the fight. He won the first contest but is permanently disfigured around his right eye. He certainly knows Donaire can hit, hit accurately, and hit hard enough to break what he hits. Tough guy, and brave, to step into the ring with Donaire again. Promises to be an exciting rematch for two of the sport’s best.

That’s oversimplifying it a little. There are varying degrees of fracture and varying effects. Saunders entire side of his face was visibly sunken after one shot whereas Inoue didn’t look that bad after a further ten rounds. Personally I wouldn’t disrespect any fighter or their trainer for pulling out of a fight due to a risk of losing their sight permanently. I doubt either Saunders or Dubois look back on that and believe it was the wrong decision. Live to fight another day and all that.
