I dont know any of you posters,
BUT
When Floyd was at 140 at the same time as Kostya, the reason they never fought was that Floyd was tied into HBO wheras Kostya was tied into Showtime. Hatton (or Warren should i say) had connections with showtime so he offered Kostya a chest of gold to bring his old 35yrs ass to Manchester to meet the Hitman, whom in 2005 was absolutely on fire - unlike the beer/take-away monster that he is today.
That said, if Kostya & Floyd were both aged 28 and at 140lb then there would only be one winner in my mind: The Thunder from Down Under
He had an undeniable blend of middlweight-power, with good handspeed, great technical ability and that killer instinct. But what would have sealed Floyd's fate was Kostya's unrivalled timing.
Floyd was rocked by Corley at 140 - and you just know that Kostya would have landed at some point and then it would have been panic stations for team mayweather.
I'll give Floyd his due, he has a great beard, but i just feel that prime Kostya owned 140lb. Especially after his shock loss to Vince Phillips (where he relied to heavily on his punching power and neglected his skills and defence in the process). After his loss he reinvented himself into an almost machine-like fighter.
After despatching Judah in the manner he did, he would have also had a large psychological advantage over Floyd, who was pals with Zab and shared common attributes & skills (especially ****y bravado).
Floyd may have 'called him out' but my guess it's a fight deep down he didn't want. Especially after he disappeared immeadiately from the division leaving the likes of WBO champion Miguel Cotto and the new IBF champion Ricky Hatton.
Boxing analysts believe Kostya was the reason that Oscar left 140 so quickly. And he's also the reason that Sugar Shane skipped the division altogether.
I side with them on that. Just a quick look at his Sydney final schooling of Vernon Forrest reminds us all what a formidable boxer Kostya was, especially against taller opponents.

Kostas doesnt have any head movement and would probably be eating counters all night. Plus Kosta loves to get his opponents on the ropes, which is Floyds A game. Not sure how it'd work.Comment
