Should be a nice matchup of styles between the sharp boxing of Pedraza and the pressure game of Commey.

PBR Streetgang you always have a very good analysis of boxing in general, I actually appreciate reading your comments.
Now back to the subject at hand Pedraza actually looks healthy in the 140 pound division, as for Commey moving up for this fight, it might spell disaster for him.
Unless of course he was draining himself in order to make the 135 pound limit, in his last fight he got dogged by Lomachenko and losing the decision.
I just don't see this fight ending well for Commey, who I've met, and think is a damn good fighter as well as a decent individual.
In closing it's apparent that Pedraza had been weakening himself to make weight for the majority of his career just to to have height, and reach advantages against his opponents.
I don't think that it's the wisest approach to any athletes, especially one who is in combat, or contact sports, I actually would like to see him move up to the 147 pound weight class which I think would have him at his strongest fighting weight.
Then we should be able to truly see what all the hoopla about Pedraza was when he turned pro, signing with 3 count them three promoter's, 1. Universal Promotions of Puerto Rico, 2. DiBella Entertainment, 3. Gary Shaw Productions,
Which I don't think is ever a good decision to sign with more than one promoter, but it lets you know how highly they thought about his boxing future in the pro ranks would be.

Thanks for the kind words, i also enjoy your analysis and comments. I appreciate the the insight into Pedraza's status as a prospect. I have grown to be a fan of his and really enjoy his fighting style.

You can get away with extreme weight cuts when you are young but it usually takes more of a toll on your body when you get older (my personal experience and observations).

I favor Sniper to win but we'll have to see how Commey's body reacts to the jump up in weight.
